It appears that in an Undisputed Era vs. Heavy Macinary title match, Bobby Fish went down with an injury. Fish was wrestling and began to clutch his knee. The referee threw up the dreaded “x” symbol and Fish was helped to the back.

He did not return and The Undisputed Era retained after Adam Cole interference. It’s unknown at this time the severity of the injury. Hopefully he just tweaked it and it won’t require him to miss time. Below is a picture found on Twitter from the event.

My Thoughts:

This injury could not come at a worse time for Bobby Fish. As the Undisputed Era have been on fire since there arrival and NXT: New Orleans is fast approaching. Many believe that The Undisputed Era won’t be long in NXT and have huge main roster potential. I am in that boat as well, believing he and O’Reilly can help take an already exciting tag division to the next level. At this time all we can do is hope it’s not serious and wait for more information. This could also affect Adam Cole as he may have to take the place of Fish in the tag team, atleast for the foreseeable future. This could put the entire group on hold if serious or may just be a small bump in the road. As long as we don’t hear that he’s heading to Alabama soon.
