During a recent Twitch broadcast during a Nintendo event, featuring both Kenny Omega and his Golden Lovers tag team partner Kota Ibushi, “The Cleaner” decided to clear the air regarding a potential signing with WWE and provided the latest on signing with Vince McMahon’s promotion anytime in the near future.

Omega stated that right now, his current answer about signing with the WWE is “no”, as he claimed that he is currently having a lot of fun in his wrestling career, that mostly revolves around NJPW and Ring of Honor.

“I don’t want to be a robot. I don’t want to be controlled. Ummm even though there is a lot of great talent, some of my good friends are still in WWE. I wish them all the best but to be able to tell the stories, the kind of stories I want to tell with who I believe are the greatest talents in the world, um that’s most important to me right now.”

However, despite not willing to sign with the WWE, Omega added that some of his good friends are still in the WWE and he wishes them nothing but the best in their career.

Moving on from the WWE rumors, Kenny Omega’s current concern will definitely be the on-going dissension within the Bullet Club, most notably between Omega and Cody , who are both set to face off in a match at this year’s Ring Of Honor, Supercard of Honor and then have his match at All In.

My Thoughts:

I don’t believe Omega should make the jump to WWE yet. However if he ever wants to truly prove himself as an all time great he will have to make the leap to the big leagues. Omega does quite well outside of WWE to the point everyone believes if a superstar leaves WWE they can have the success of Omega. While he may not be close now, I can’t imagine he never makes the jump.
