Pro Wrestling Tees Discontinuing The Elite Bullet Club Tees
4 Life?
Wrestling’s most prolific t-shirt retailer is making a big change after their annual Black Friday Sale, discontinuing The Elite’s Bullet Club shirts!
In their latest email blast, Pro Wrestling Tees revealed that after their annual Black Friday Sale, The Elite’s Bullet Club shirts will no longer be available. The subject of the email, “Bullet Club Shirts Gone Forever?” definitely had some people wondering what was going on!
The email included an image which showed shirt designs for Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, and Marty Scurll.

The subject did it’s job, getting us to click, but it also turned out to be slightly false. The Chairshot’s Greg DeMarco reached out to Pro Wrestling Tees, who confirmed that it is just The Elite members who will see their Bullet Club merchandise discontinued. Bullet Club, as a brand, will remain on the online retailer’s site:
“Just the Elite BC shirts will be discontinued.”
Not so coincidentally, Pro Wrestling Tees is also releasing new merchandise for The Elite during the same sale:

Pro Wrestling Tees annual Black Friday Sale actually starts on Tuesday, November 20, at 12 noon (central time). The sale will end at the same time on November 26.
Disclaimer: The Chairshot (like many entities in the world of pro wrestling) has a store on Pro Wrestling Tees, and a commission is received for sales. That relationship had no bearing on this report.
Greg’s Take
This piqued my interest at first, as it seemed like Pro Wrestling Tees was somehow forced to pick sides, and picked The Elite. Obviously that isn’t the case, but the truth behind it all (which I appreciate them sharing so quickly) is that it further moves The Elite to the forefront.
New Japan Pro Wrestling has aspirations of growing their brand globally, and expansion in the United States is a huge part of that. Bullet Club was also a huge part of that, thanks in no small part to the roles played by The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and Kenny Omega. The company seems to be in a position to move on without those four in the future, although I wouldn’t be shocked of Kenny Omega re-signs with the company he so strongly pledged to grow. The Bullet Club OGs are still going strong, but don’t have the marketability in the United States that the members of The Elite have.
Los Ingobernables De Japon seems to have stronger following in the States than the current Bullet Club, so it’ll be interesting to see how things are marketed in 2019.
Needless to say, the next steps for The Elite will be a huge story in the coming months, and you know your friends here at The Chairshot will be right there to keep you updated!
And since I added the disclaimer, why not check out OUR STORE on Pro Wrestling Tees, eh?

Former WWE Star Reveals How Company Tests Wrestlers for an “Attitude Problem”
A former WWE star took to social media to explain, in brief, how WWE evaluates its talent to determine whether they have an “attitude problem.” The post offered a glimpse into the company’s behind-the-scenes vetting process, suggesting that behavior and professionalism are actively monitored during a wrestler’s time with the promotion.
While the explanation was limited, the revelation underscores WWE’s focus on maintaining locker-room culture and managing talent dynamics. Fans and industry observers may read the post as further evidence that character and conduct behind the curtain can be as consequential as in-ring performance.

WWE Backlash Match Sparks “Clone War” Debate in Wrestling Community
Wrestling fans and insiders are abuzz after a match at WWE Backlash was accused of “copycatting” a formula previously used by an independent wrestler, a situation some are calling a new “clone war” in the industry. The controversy highlights growing concerns about creative overlap between major promotions and the indie scene.
The debate raises questions about originality and recognition, with observers wondering whether mainstream companies should acknowledge or adapt indie ideas more transparently. As the story spreads, fans and performers alike are watching to see how promotions handle influence, credit, and creative borrowing moving forward.
