The IWGP United States Title will be on the line at Wrestle Kingdom!

Following the conclusion of the World Tag League on Saturday (find results here), the focus now turns to New Japan Pro Wrestling’s next large show at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th, Wrestle Kingdom 13.

The card for the show already had eight matches scheduled including the IWGP Heavyweight, Intercontinental, Tag Team and Junior Heavyweight Titles all on the line. Not to mention the NEVER Openweight Championship being defended by the new titleholder Kota Ibushi, the Rev Pro British Heavyweight Title Match and others. In fact, seven of the official matches will be for championships and now another has been added.

NJPW has announced that IWGP United States Champion Cody will be in action at Wrestle Kingdom 13, defending his title against the man he defeated for it at Fighting Spirit Unleashed, Juice Robinson. Here’s how the updated card breaks down:
