MB Funk (Michael Blake Whitehead) Passes Away
Michael Blake Whitehead, better known to fans as MB Funk, has passed away, prompting an outpouring of condolences from the wrestling community. WrestleArts in Indianapolis released a statement offering their deepest sympathies to his family and friends and remembering Whitehead as a beloved performer with a kind soul.
Whitehead worked in the industry as a wrestler, manager and commentator, and fellow professionals including Phil Stamper shared messages of sorrow and tribute. No further details regarding the circumstances of his death have been released at this time.

Mr. Thomas has left Major League Wrestling, with Fightful Select first reporting the news. Thomas signed with MLW in February 2025 after initially competing for the promotion in 2021 and being used regularly beginning in 2023.
He last appeared in the promotion at MLW Battle Riot in January. Fightful’s initial report indicates additional details are available to subscribers.
