Last week on SmackDown Live, the WWE celebrated the Fourth Of July, more specifically Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as The New Day held their inaugural Pancake Eating Contest on the eve of the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.

The competition didn’t last more than a few seconds, as the lights would go out and The New Day were ambushed by Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain, better known as SAnitY. The anarchy left Woods, Kofi and Big E all laying in SAnitY’s destruction, finished off by Young driving down with an elbow off the top rope to a prone Xavier as he was stretched out across a table.

Now that Extreme Rules is right around the corner this Sunday, it seemed as if the card was just about finalized until SmackDown Live General Manager Paige made the following announcement today:

Tables are breaking!
Pancakes are flying!
So I’m making it OFFICIAL.
The New Day vs. SAnitY for the #ExtremeRules Kickoff…
