WWE’s Tiffany Stratton used a recent livestream to firmly refute online rumors claiming a former WWE wrestler was dismissed for flirting with her, calling the allegation “completely false” and saying there is no truth to it. Stratton added she hopes the wrestler is doing well and noted she’d heard he had signed with Impact Wrestling.

Although Stratton did not name anyone, speculation has focused on Giovanni Vinci, who made his Impact debut this week and confronted X Division Champion Cedric Alexander. Vinci is best known for his run in Imperium with Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther, was expelled from the group in 2024, lost a pair of SmackDown singles matches to Apollo Crews, and was released by WWE in February 2025.

Sidney Akeem, who wrestled as Reggie in WWE NXT, says his Scrypts character never reached its potential after debuting as an attempt to shake things up on the brand. The experimental persona effectively ended when Akeem departed WWE in 2024, leaving the concept unfinished on television.

In a recent interview on Rewind Recap Relive, Akeem explained the downfall came down to too many voices shaping the idea — creative shifts and outside input diluted the original vision and prevented the character from being realized the way he intended. He said those creative constraints, combined with his exit, led to the character being shelved rather than developed further.
